Chromatische Aberration

Chromatische Aberration ist ein optischer Fehler, bei dem Farben an kontrastreichen Kanten nicht korrekt übereinanderliegen.

Typisch sind farbige Säume, meist:

  • violett

  • grün

  • blau

Diese entstehen, weil unterschiedliche Lichtfarben unterschiedlich stark gebrochen werden und nicht exakt auf denselben Punkt im Sensor treffen.

Chromatische Aberration tritt häufig auf bei:

  • günstigen Objektiven

  • offener Blende

  • starkem Gegenlicht

  • hohen Kontrasten (z. B. Äste vor hellem Himmel)

Man unterscheidet:

  • laterale chromatische Aberration (seitliche Verschiebung)

  • longitudinale chromatische Aberration (Farbfehler vor/hinter der Fokusebene)

Moderne Objektive und Software können diesen Effekt oft stark reduzieren oder automatisch korrigieren.
